Midnight Pub

drinks

~shiloh

The whole family's together for Christmas. Tonight, the move's been rum or bourbon and coke, but I've been hittin' the gin and brandy and slivovicha.

So far, the peppermint schnapps has not made an appearance, but the only reason we have it is for hot chocolate, and the weather's too warm for it in Florida right now.

What's yall's drinks for the night?

Love it! When I worked on a llama ranch a few years back, we always kept iodized salt packets around for the poor man's electrolytes. Always feels good to have them in the blood.

A variety of various beverages, but the one I've been enjoying most frequently is good old Coca-Cola. No wretched booze, and a wonderful flavour!

I had soju with a friend and oden soup and egg rolls last night. For someone like me who is not good at alcohol, 17% alcohol content was enough to get me drunk. I want to drink non-alcoholic beer today. 🍺

I tried soju for the first time a few months ago! It was a pineapple flavoured type, quite cheap and cheerful but admittedly good as hell. My friends and I sat in a park and passed it around, and I remember feeling quite tipsy on the way home (I am not much of a drinker, you see.), hehehe!

Ohhhh I'm so glad to see someone with soju experience here. I love lemon soju, although I can't drink it as much as I should. :)

Wooooo yeah!! It's certainly a flavoured beverage :-B I think my favourite alcoholic beverage is something I call 'posca', named after the vinegary stuff the Romans drank all those years ago....I take bayleaves and place them in a bottle of white wine for a few hours, then pour the wine into a glass...I add water, and then mix honey into it. It makes for a sweet, palatable and slightly less intoxicating version of white wine :-P
