I'm at home with my wife and her school friend, the baby is asleep upstairs. I'll be flitting between the web and listening in on these two childhood friends catching up and reminiscing, which is lovely in its way.
2024 holds a lot of promise, I feel. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm gonna chill at home and play videogames tonight :-) Once the New Year rolls around, I'm gonna print out a bunch of copies of my resume and walk around town handing them out to as many shops as I can, hehehe! Looking for part-time employment while studying sure is difficult...but it's gotta be done if I want some spare cash, y'know?
Last year I went out with friends and counted down in the centre of a packed nightclub. It felt really good, and was probably my favourite celebration of the new year.
Unfortunately, I've been STRUCK with tonsillitis and some friends are enjoying the New Year with their families. So I'll just be treating it like any other day, maybe with a bit of reflection, but mostly healing.
I don't have any mid- or long-term plans, just hope to be healthy.
I have a goal to climb a mountain to watch the sun rise on the morning of January 1, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep it. 😆
I’m quite busy with mid-terms right now (our country doesn’t celebrate new years by Gregorian standards) so it’s a web celebration for me as well :P
