An old rumor my Mom told me once, though it's more of a far-off fairytale. She told me back in Korea, her and her friends believed there was a Gundam robot hiding underneath the river that was prepared to defend the city in case of an emergency.
A friend told me you could just ask strangers in a pub for rumours and they answer with enthusiasm.
The midnight pub feels like no one is a stranger but I thought I'm just gonna ask anyway.

I will go first: A traintrack to my city is under repairs for the past two years. Three more years are planned. It's rumoured that believe it or not two badgers are all it took for the track to be out of order for 5 years. Ridiculous and typical DB (german railway) :)

It is generally believed that the Year of the Blue Dragon favors reform and change over maintaining the status quo or protecting vested interests. As such, we can expect unpredictable events and new shocking changes in 2024.
That sounds very much like the DB. Paid by the tax-payer only to create new tracks, but heaven forbid they dip into their own pockets and actually *maintain* existing tracks!
I heard a rumour in my highschool Latin class that there was a circus elephant buried under a big hill in my hometown, one which is not that far from my actual house :-O If the local council ever do waterwork renovations, I wonder if they secretly plan it around the bones of said elephant?
