End of Vacation

~ofresco

Christmas is ending... i already went to Las Cabalgatas de los Reyes Magos in Spain and got my candy... still a bit sad that is ending and i have to go back to school but oh well.. This time i actually made some New Year's resolutions! I'm going to get a part-time job and get a little bit of money and also experience, go to the gym and get my C1 level in English! I feel that those are achievable goals so I'll try to maintain them throughout the year, I'm very excited!

Also, a little bit late but Happy New Year! =)

Happy New Year!

And because i stumbled over it again: A picture of the Callanish Stones at winter solstice combined with a carefully crafted analemma. There are a lot of truely beautiful things to be found on this little planet:

~bartender? Just hot coffee with cream and sugar, and some water on the side. Thank you!

One can read that the sure death of new year resolutions is mainly caused by exaggerated expectations. So, I agree to keep them small. I shall continue to brush up my Spanish, and I need to look after my health. So really already lots to be achieved. Along other lines: I declared surrender on my TODO list some time ago. Yesterday I did at least clear out a few hopeless and done items. And it occurred to me, that I use the wrong category, maybe. There are things, which must be done (sometime in the near or mid future), but those are different from things, which must be done (no excuse) by the end of this or next week. And those latter ones are the ones that I need to see in my agenda, and they must be few. Otherwise I'm going to ignore the agenda and put all my trust into the paper calendar in the kitchen --- which still works surprisingly well. :-)

Ok, I did now hijack your little New Years post with unimportant things. Sorry for the noise.

~bartender? Whatever ~ofresco fancies, its on me.
