LOCAL REPORT OF THE 31-12-2023

Report

So, the tournament was 4 turns long, I played only 3 of them and lost all matches.

First turn

Against the first Fire King player I was able to drag the game for a bunch of turns, but the new fire king xyz monster, plus the ability of the deck to loop its resources had the best. The second duel was a carbon copy of the first, just a little faster.

Second turn

I'm again against a Fire King player, this time I'm completely unable to set a board with meaningful interaction. I lost 2 games in a row and spent the rest of the time play goat format using a chaos control deck.

Third turn

This turn I'm BYE, so I play goat format using a chaos good stuff pile. Surprisingly I won

Fourth turn

This time I'm against a R-ACE player. First turn he otk me with a Firewall Dragon Darkfluid combo. Second turn he bricks, I don't, we go to the next game. Again the Firewall Dragon Darkfluod combo.

What I learned

From this local I learned a lot of things:

- Don't make the list the night before it's the fastest way to lose

- You can't play around all handtraps and you need to commit at a

certain point

- The ability of the pilot is *REALLY* important

- Traptrix as a strategy is actually competent.
