Hello hey yes hi hello. I woke up at like 5am despite sleeping at 1am, I could have slept more but the drive to college on empty streets is very comfortable so I wanted to salvage the opportunity.
Anyways, I have a midterm in like two hours from now, I studied, and that's all I can really say I did.
These couple two week have been pure garbage honestly, uncalled for delays and changes led to me rearranging my calendar's events more than actually prepare for these events.
Anyone knows how to use Prolog? Cause I sure as hell do not. I tried and despite it being a "logical" language I somehow has more trouble with it than C/C++, mostly cause of the lack of learning resources, the hellfest that is the studying material being rushed and full of errors, the constant updates, tiring to keep up with. It is very demotivating to study whilst knowing that whatever you're wasting your time on is most likely blatantly wrong.
So I spent like a week on this project and they suddenly changed the format two days before the deadline, as well as add the requirement of you recording yourself showcasing the project, still all ambigious qnd without any details on how grade distribution will work. But I digress.
On a more positive note, I bought minecraft for like the sixth time during my lifetime, but the difference here is that I bought the real minecraft, like the real real deal, the big boy version, yes the java edition, despite me having... "access" to that version beforehand I felt like I owed younger me this purchase since he always wished to have an account soooooo... yeah :>
Being the idiot I am, I accidentally bought the microsoft store version and realized in the refund window that it wouldn't play nice with linux, so I was able to refund for store credit and bought the "good" one (they're both microsoft accounts so honestly nothing really good but it sure is better)
I have not touched the game beyond my purchase anymore than I did before I bought it, I still played around with some mods hoping for some motivation to come.Still a very nonexistant being, it's hard to feel alive sometimes but at least I am trying. Is it that I'm too far gone that people won't acknowledge my existence? Or is it that I just naturally repel people away? Whatever it is, it'll be over soon, probably, I'll try, I hope.
Update: midterm went well, VERY well, the best test I had in a long while despite being scared of it the most.

on minecraft: fun fact if you purchase either version you actually get both, since i think 8 months ago? so you have both the windows version and the java version! ofc, you need windows to play the windows version, and i think that non windows devices (ie. playstation, xbox, switch) still require a separate purchase.

and yeah I knew about the minecraft thing for a while! they also made it a lot more obvious by naming the purchase on the website as "java and bedrock" but I was skeptical about it since I was not certain of it playing well with other operating systems (on the windows store, its called just "minecraft for windows" so i had [some] doubts).
And yeah consoles and mobile need seperate purchases, I would know that.. hehe.. my first purchase of the game was on the ps3 back when that first launched, then I remember pocked edition and the playstation vita versions at some later point in life, also the switch version back a year or so ago, for all that time I didn't really have a personal computer to justify the java purchase... well, until now I guess.
oh man. i used to play on the ps3 with my sister split screen it was so fun. we had minecraft for computers but theres something about split screen that feels special. hell to play ofc, having half a tv in vertical height and a whole tv in horizontal length, just works poorly. i don't know why splitscreen was that, but it was!
