Memory

~uirapuru

Memory is a funny thing, I only have (like most) a few recollections of my early years and I wonder how many of those are true memories instead of reconstructions based on what others told me. Nevertheless today there came to me a physical evidence of a past event, in the form of a letter. I rember the event told there, but I completely forgot about writing that letter. The funny thing is, after reading it, all the feelings I had on that single, distant and forgotten moment... came back.

Oh, this is so true!

And I'm somewhat scared of losing things.

For instance, some time ago I realized I can't remember my first kiss! It is filled with artificial memories. Can you imagine that? Thank you, brain, you f*ck!

A while ago I started to wonder if I should write my own memories, in order not to lose details. It is a risky bet, since I might spend half of my life (or, what is left of it) in writing what happens in the other half. Should I even write of when I write, btw?

Jokes aside, I started to write down some memories, but they turned out to be so personal that I decided to encrypt them! They can't be shared. They're something in between "nobody would find this interesting" and "this would be way too embarrassing".

What a problem!
