and with that, a chapter in my life comes to an end. in an earlier post, I said that I would be graduating soon. and here we are! after a nice graduation ceremony, a rather fun party, and moving out of my dorm, I'm finally properly free. four years gone, just like that. how weird a feeling, to be without a place to belong again.
in that previous post, I talked about wearing my gown in my dorm room before moving out. that did not quite happen because of the hectic nature of the last few days. however, I did get lots of chances to say goodbyes and "this will not be our last goodbye"s to people. I'm glad to have had those chances.
what awaits us now? I'm not exactly sure yet. the main point right now is to unpack my stuff and get used to my home again. I figure that it will take a second for me to leave my student life behind. regardless, there is a high likelihood that this isn't the last anyway. I'm most likely starting a master's program soon. we might have this conversation again two years later :P
right now, I'm waiting for the realization to hit. the realization that nothing will be the same as it was for the last four years. I think they will stay my favorite for a while :)
