I'm not white, and I would say white violence is definitely a thing. However, beating white people over the head with it has run its course. There's a limit to how much you can legislate racism out of people as we saw with civil rights. We have reached peak saturation of anti-racism.

~invicta, I don't think you should delete your account because of this.

I couldn't finish your post after I got to the "white violence" part.

As someone you'd likely characterize as "white", I can't tell you how tired I am with being lumped in with others after having worked with, lived with, and married others outside my so-called color/race.

And not just lumped in, but seemingly blamed for most of the planet's ills.

Based on that, my mind has replaced "poc" to "pos" regarding you personally.

Good luck going forward with your hyper-over-generalizations....

you didn't have to read it. i'm glad you gave this some time of your day. but i want to ask what compelled you to post something so unkind?

Calling out racism - in this case the blanket term "white violence" - seems unkind to you?

calling others pieces of shit for being concerned about a real threat is unkind. i just want to ask you to please examine your own feelings and why you might've wanted to say something like this in a vulnerable post. i'm planning to delete this and my account anyway so i won't bother you anymore.

Also, I apologize for coming down so hard you. I hit my limit of being roped into others' behavior by the biological accident of skin color, and look forward to a day when people will behaviorally demonstrate a new tee-shirt slogan you've inspired in my mind: "name names, not colors"

Label your real threats with names of specific individuals, not by implying threats from entire swaths of people via blanket, color-centric labels, e.g. "white violence".

There are no colors of *people*. Those who use colors to designate people in general reveal they consider skin color a relevant factor when talking about people. I consider that the root/essence of racism.
