Gonna be a busy day, what with rushing around a bit for staying up too late last night (add alcohol to that scenario, and can ya feel the drag?), and soon heading out to babysit grandson.

At my wife's request (that feels more like a demand..) I'm going to be trying new strategies requiring behavior and attitude that are arguably "not who I am".

But I guess it's "old college try" time.....

i hope someday that i too, will live long enough to have grandchildren. though that is quite a while yet!

i know what it is like to have to try 'new strategies' in regards to behaviour and such. my dear papa was in a similar situation a few months ago on account of his failing relationship with my mother, but if that old chap could pull through it, i'll bet it'll be smooth sailing for you!

and it is still tuesday.

It wasn't exactly "smooth", but I'm better for it.

So... back to grandchildren. Have you had any imaginings as to how many you're like, and what their names might be?

i have not thought that far ahead, i shall admit! though i hope to be a very doting sort of old lady, one who will wipe crumbs from their face with a handkerchief, and one who shows them how to feed the birds in the park. i should like to show them the music of my youth, though there is not much to say about katy perry and the like, ha ha ha! my tastes would be 150 years old at that point, i should think.

They will appreciate someone taking the time to take the time! I mean, why give time itself all the power, e.g. to be taking us hither and yon regardless our protests, having its crumby way with us?

Surely time is merely a thought necessary to explain other thoughts? For how could other thoughts develop if not in a procession from past then until now, and now until future then? We give time - and its chunkier sibling space - supreme (yet silent) power as backdrop of each and every story, an underlying current within expanse, never directionally changed, the mighty merciless heropass of Mr. Gurdjieff at the cutting edge of becoming in place!

And, yet, always subject to our story, no matter how much we pretend it to be the other way around lest the hocus pocus game be up, the lights come on, and we remember we did it all in the name of possibly being more in so much less confines - as crazy as it sounds when you finally stop space and time long enough to cease the opaque blur covering our purely conceptual Source.
