Not directly related, but I swear that less than 10 minutes before reading your lovely title ("Sharp Smoothness"), mind was tantalized by the phrase "there's a kind of tightening that loosens", but just couldn't find a practical application for it quickly enough to facilitate the guilt avoidance of getting back to work.
