That was so cute and creative. It had me chuckling, I hope to see some more. Thank you!
#Hi Midnight Public
Let me introduce myself by PUBlishing (harhar) a little ASCII comic:
(Gemini Gemtext)I hope y'all enjoy it!
More to come soon...maybe..

This is absolutely adorable. I'm really enjoying it! It's so rare - if ever - that I come across this that it's very precious.
No pressure but I hope you do more.
WOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW. Sorry, I don't have the words to describe how beautiful that is. I now must pursue the art of ASCII as well! Congratulations!
It is definitely an art form worth persuing! Very rewarding, especially with so much nice feedback ;), yet so simple to accomplish. Just pick the *ascii_chars[128] that seem to fit best and leave the rest to the imagination.
You know her already (at least from the first panel), but check out Joan Stark (jgs)! Her stuff really inspired me...
Edit: Discovered your PICO-8 Cartridge...
Now that's some impressive pixel art!
Guess I just went from master to student, if you don't mind the term ;)
Glad you liked the pico 8 cartridge! But to be honest, there's something magic about drawing a comics with 7 bits....
I'm really curious about how you do it! Are you using any software at all?
It's the magic of keeping it simple ;)
In that spirit, I almost exclusively use vim. I slapped together a few lines of C (ok, so much for KISS %) to generate, blank, clone, invert (e.g. '/' to '\') and paste-into the panels...but boy do I suck at coding.
I should've probably just vimproved my macro skills instead.
Anyway, these are my only utilities.
