Sleeping

~sylvania

i had the displeasure of sleeping 15 hours straight today (or yesterday depending on your time zone). woke up completely destroyed, felt like my brain was falling through my nose.

has anyone else had a similar experience?

why did i even sleep that much anyway

As the resident Biggest Beatles Fan, my recommendation is you hightail it over to The Beatles (aka The White Album) to get you some good 'ole "I'm So Tired" sonic lovin'! :-)

reply

sylvania

i'll try that tonight, i need to get up early for school so hopefully itll work

I remember falling asleep for twelve hours once, and then awakening in a dizzy haze. "Oversleeping" is a thing, but I am not a doctor who can make recommendations. Do you usually set an alarm?

reply

sylvania

i have many alarms, full volume, but they never wake me up, unless i've slept like 10 hours the night before

maybe i just need more sleep than other people

reply

I am not a doctor, but there are many things that affect your sleep and your required level of it. I think that you could benefit from experimentation.

reply

sylvania

maybe, i think I'll mention it to my doctor next visit :)
