Midnight Pub

Exiting the chaotic information superhighway

~typeface

To facilitate doing stupid stuff quicker, this new patron switched from consuming spirits to exclusively coffee some time ago.

Yet paradoxically I've also been on the quest for slower, quieter and more interesting pockets of the interwebs.

Ahhhh the places I have travelled and things I have seen. Gemini capsules, gopherholes, portals to other dimensions, offgrid geeks in boats and now I find myself here: the Midnight Pub.

Well, hello, folks. Aren't y'all an interesting bunch. :-)

I'll take a strong black with honey.

Hello ~typeface, welcome to the Midnight! Your travels sound interesting. the offgrid geeks on a boat sound like 100rabbits. Yes, they have very interesting takes on technology and art. Refreshing.

Thanks for the welcome! :-) That's exactly the collective I was referring to! Quite refreshing indeed. Always a delight finding folk who take pleasure and pride in taking different paths including making their own. Cheers bartender!

Welcome to the Pub! Anyone who stumbles across the pub is a lucky individual because there are not many places like it on the modern internet I believe!

As a web developer I used to love this high-tech bleeding-edge technology stuff in the webs. But then I realized I was mindlessly consuming information that I don't need. Also, web bloat is real and a lot could be solved if there was interest. (Needless to say I don't like web development as much as I used to!)

Now I just sit here enjoying my scotch.

Welcome!
