True, it took me the better part of a year (most of 2019) going back and forth, back and forth with Twitter. I was deleting my account, then reactivating it the next day, then trying to *justify* my actions - everything about it screamed "addiction" after a while. Glad when I finally left. Everything (in life) seems relatively cheerier since :)
best of luck
Thank you!! I know it will take me a while before I am able to completely to live w/o that soul sucking app being a part of my everyday (been on there since 2015...so about 6 years now...), but noticing that it's an issue and is something that needs to be lessened significantly (if not completely), is the very first step!
As executor of post number six-hundred-and-sixty-six, all I can say is:
I left alone, my mind was blank I needed time to think, to get the memories from my mind. ... NIGHT WAS BLACK WAS NO USE TURNING BACK COS I JUST HAD TO SEE WAS SOMEONE WAA-TCHING ME-E?
Firefox has been disastrous ever since Mozilla cared about the versioning.
I think just generally since they laid off their core devs and their CEO took another bump to their salary.
I have no idea where to go now. Ungoogled-chromium seems promising
Ungoogled-chromium is good and is better than what came before it, Iridium, but it's still largely the efforts of one guy like Waterfox or Pale Moon. For many years, Avant *was* a one-man browser. Emphasis on was.
contrarian, indeed
Not really. It's a pretty commonly held opinion among power users - not saying I'm one of them.
