Currently, fifty-year-old man living in Parkersburg, WV. Looking to work in the custodial field. Used to do a lot of various general labor work that got me classed as a "rough neck" due to the nature of some of the work.

Now, from working so hard and at times playing as hard, spirit is willing, but tools are limited. Not blaming, only accepting.

Did a short time as a sailor for U.S.N., got past basic. Unfortunately, I could not go beyond that. There was a medical issue which disqualified me from serving. Had lived totally unaware of it until then.

Sometimes, I think that was my heart's desire and not being "there" crushed me. Other times, I recall the first lesson taught from day one, you never surrender. My wife now tells me that military service had its chance to have me. She's not giving me up.

Actually made her breakfast in bed this morning. Did up some French toast using milk in the egg wash mix. She found it rather yummy, but could not "get around" two pieces of toast. *grin*

Yep, after 22 years married, I still manage to give her little surprises. :)
