Howdy! I figured I might as well introduce myself, since I've seen others do the same. I'm from Ontario, and I'm trying to become a novelist (although I've got some comp-sci courses lined up just in case).
I found out about the Midnight looking up a list of capsules to get started with Gemini, and this might just be the friendliest I've ever seen the internet be! I hope I can be a helpful contributor around here. And ~bartender, a water please.

What do you enjoy writing about most?
I'm a science fiction writer mostly. I've created a world that I'm currently in the process of fleshing out the history of, and I've done a few short stories set in it. Haven't finished anything longer than a scene quite yet, but practice makes perfect :)
That sounds like it's right up my street. Have you, or are you going to make the few short stories available to people?
