In this case, Twitter. I hate it because it's somehow _more_ appropriate, and I'm a little impressed.
One of my high-school peers became a physics influencer on Twitter (and I am astounded that this is a thing). He was and is insufferable, and now he is also on the fediverse, so it is harder to ignore him.
