Candyfloss

~indoors

I ate candyfloss last weekend. It had been made at the faire. I know this because it had the faint succulence of faded fried onions and cooked burgers soaked into its cotton.

There really is no equivalent to consuming a memory in food form.

What are some foods you enjoy?

Hey @indoors, your nickname reminds me of a company I once worked for. "indoo.rs" You aint related somehow.

I really hope not! I just picked the name from a random word generator. What did indoo.rs do?

About the only foods I don't enjoy are sweets and/or desserts in general. Not that the taste buds don't enjoy them, but they faithfully lead to bloat whose misery easily outpaces the joy.

Favorites were easier to remember before becoming one with my wife. Everything she prepares is amazing, which quickly pushes memories of past favorites down a seemingly bottomless queue from which they won't emerge until next time she makes 'em.

Given that, I honestly stare off into space struggling to find the first word of a sentence (you know... in what now might be called "presidential debate fashion"... <coughs>) when someone asks me about favorites in person.
