Gosh, I'm out of touch....
That said, the following seemed more than a little ~tffb tinged:
On Writing & BlogsMe and James sat porchside. his apartment is the building over from where I live. To the left of his porch, flowers. The apartment adjacent, hummingbird feeders, the garden adjacent from that, more feeders.
I had came in from the convenience store, and he asked if I wanted a Peaches N Cream Dr Pepper, I accepted. We sat for 20 minutes chatting, hummingbirds buzzing and swooping and diving - from flower, to feeder, to foliage and fern. The sun rising caused a mist of morning dew, beams striking through the mist, groupings og gnats clustered in the rays therein.
Cold flavors and quiet nature encompassed the sitting area. A buzz, a rumbling, a zipping of hummingbird, flying right to my face and dodging my person just before collision. 25 or 30 of them.
The distant St Joe church bells rang to indicate it was 9:00 AM.
Soda in-hand, I returned to my apartment. Awaiting refunds in the afternoon, cooling of the evening. Cricket post-sunset.

On Writing & BlogsYea perfectionism never plagued me. Hell, writing TO PEOPLE or ONLINE just "happened", I didn't consider, have interest in IMPROVING let alone perfecting anything.
"Write, skip corrections, when in doubt publish" seemed like the blogging world was singing my song when I heard of it. No time for college and improving thing was I was late-teens anyway (thanks M&D for ignoring the Liberal Arts schools I was to attend when I had (or believed to have had) higher-than-avergage writing skills at 9 years old).
I'm sticking w/ Midnight. Idk what muses and reviews thing is, but chances are perfectionism isn't plaguing him/her if they're putting their words on the Internet
