well

i took my first test drive with the typewriter

i just did a freeform

automatic writing kind of thing

the keys are sensitive (really sensitive)

so i hit some multiple times on accident

and others that i wasn't intending to hit

i'll get use to it

anyways

there is the typewriting/blogging community out there, too. I forget what they refer to themselves as. Check the doc USA Typewriter (American Typewriter?) by Tom Hanks, too. As he loves him a typewriter.

Also, Hanx Writer if you come across an iPad (typewriter emulator, haha) sponsored/named after Tom Hanks. And another site I forget the name of called writer.??? (writer.bighugelabs.com?) that has typewriter SOUNDS, but, of course, that may be the least attractive thing about a typewriter imo
