Huh, I'd forgotten about the letters/numbers CB "call signs".
Your mentioning them somehow has me remembering WWV:
WWVIt was interesting back when because although it sounded utterly the same at first listen, there were nuances to what it broadcast. They probably had meaning/significance that I never knew (or knew and forgot..), but I only knew of them "auditorially".
And FWIW, it was a bit jarring to see my high school graduation year in a Midnight Pub post.... >_<
WWV looks cool. Similar to NOAA, which I liked to try to get from as far away as possible on my CCrane handheld radio. I picked up West Kansas from St Louis, MO before, so that was neat

I'm pretty sure I'm headed there, actually. Despite finding gobs of links to pursue, I keep finding the url hardly matters as the content I'm likely to encounter there will be the same olde knee-jerk in a morass of nobody really understanding each other.
Not that I can do any better, what with nothing new to add. Even merely attempting to generate something new feels silly, as though ego on its last gasps.
It's just a matter of what's feeling like a short amount of time before I look at this screen one last time with disdain amidst much embarrassment for having spent so much time imagining finding something significant there.
All indications are that the real meat is the opposite direction, i.e. within - or, better yet, behind the within.
Turns out that the without is without in proverbial spades....
