Sometime in the middle of the night
The roaches were climbing into the pit. I grabbed my shoe and started swatting them, but they kept coming. Some of them climbed up my leg and I let out a cry, jumping in frenzy.
Now there were so many of them, they were walking on top of each other. I jumped out of the pit and saw a bunch of soldiers laughing, casually unloading the roaches from drums, straight into the pit.
"Hey! What do you think you-" One of them pointed his shotgun at me and fired.
