This heat. ffs
It's ~100F right now. I am inside, avoiding sweat. having coffee as AC is running beautifully.
IRC here and there, slow at times, faster at others.
Did ASCII art for a blog I am setting up
Ensuring my phone plan/data is reset to be WHEN I pay, and not the 15 as it is scheduled now. Once it is paid (Fri) I will be able to tether and not hit the Port 22 error and all the other proxy BS that comes with tethering with/on a third party app. Then, I can SSH and get down to business with the blog, the new domain, etc.
So, two days
Hope everyone is well
We had a slight cold spell here, with some rainstorms and cloudy weather. Temps were low, around 80, and shockingly not much in terms of humidity. We're right back with the sunny weather now, but we're finally at that point in late summer where the temps start to dip to low 90s and high 80s. And we're expected to have a wet fall. No arguments from me, though.
We had a beautiful week of "blackberry winter", a cool spell during the hottest month of the year. It was glorious. It's back up to the upper 90s this week. The Halloween decorations are all out in the stores, but I know it won't actually cool down here until mid-October, and a hot Halloween is not out of the question.
It was hot here too. Babysat a grandchild for about half the day. Performed out with three others at a wine bar. It was one of our best performances, which maybe a high of twelve people got to experience. Our pay was in wine and food. Glorious.
Much precipitation last night, which hopefully doesn't give way to significant humidity, as yesterday's heat was thankfully dry.
