My name is Rquell, or Dwaynan. I am new to Gemini space. I was attracted at first by the promise that it would work more consistently on my device than the mainstream internet, but I actually rather like it here -- even if I seem to have a much lower level of tech literacy than most of my neighbors, haha. I appreciate the simplicity.

And ~dwaynan, rest assured, if software would run all of the world, we would have kicked ourselves from the planet a long time ago. Luckily flowers grow every spring anew, and Sol and the moon have their way, leaving tides, seasons, rain and shine in their wake. My dad used to work the land and grow all sorts vegetables, fruits and the like. I have come to appreciate this particular art quite a bit. I would probably manage to grow onions, but else ... not so sure. So, a toast to the non-techies who actually run the world to a much larger extent than we techies can see. Cheers!
